COOKIE POLICY 1627

1627 Holding S.p.A.. collects information during the user’s navigation on its site, in order to: analyze how the user and other visitors use it; compile aggregate statistics on its usage and improve the browsing experience, with the help of analysis service providers.

This information includes, for example, the IP address, the type and language of the browser, the date and time, the duration of the visit and selected page, views and elements.
1627 Holding S.p.A.. uses cookies to collect and analyze such information.

WHAT ARE COOKIES

Cookies are small text files that the site visited by users sends to their devices, where they are stored, to be later retransmitted to the same site on the next visit.

Cookies can be installed directly by the owner or manager of the website (first-party cookies), or by managers unrelated to the website visited by the user (third-party cookies).

The cookies of the so called “third parties” are installed by a different website than the one that the user is visiting. This is because on each site there may be elements (e.g. images, maps, links to web pages of other domains) that reside on servers other than that of the site visited.

B+C S.r.l. uses both first-party and third-party cookies.

PURPOSES OF COOKIE USAGE

Cookies are used for different purposes for example: computer authentication, session monitoring, storing information with specific configurations regarding users accessing the site and storing their preferences.

In general, they are used to improve the user navigation, thanks to the customization of the site based on the user’s browsing habits.

TYPES OF COOKIES

According to their characteristics and usage, cookies can be categorized as follow:

1. Session cookies:

These cookies are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and are deleted when the browser is closed. They are limited to the transmission of session identifiers necessary to allow an efficient and safe site exploration avoiding the use of other technical solutions that could be more invasive and not protect the privacy of the user’s browsing.

2. Persistent cookies:

These cookies are stored on the computer’s hard disk until the user deletes them or their expiration date. Users of that computer are automatically recognized each time they visit the site. Visitors can set each browser to accept or refuse the use of cookies or display a warning each time a cookie is proposed, choosing from time to time whether to accept or reject it. The user can however disable cookies blocking them permanently.

3. Technical cookies

They are used to ease navigation or to provide the service requested by the user. They are not used for purposes other than efficient navigation. Without the use of such cookies, some operations could not be performed or would be more complex and/or less secure. Examples of their use include authentication, the use of multimedia content, or allowing the user to choose the site’s browsing language.

Cookies used to statistically analyze the accesses/visits to the site can also be traced back to this type, only if they are used for statistical purposes and by collecting information in aggregate form. Prior consent of users is not required for the installation of such cookies.

4. Profiling cookies

They are designed to create user profiles and are used to send advertising messages according to the preferences expressed by the user while browsing. Due to the particular invasiveness they may have in the user’s privacy, European and Italian legislation requires that the user must be adequately informed about their usage in order to express their valid consent.

By visiting this website you may receive cookies from sites operated by other organizations (“third parties”). These are parts generated directly from the aforementioned sites and integrated into the visited webpage.

COOKIE DURATION

Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or the user logs out. Other cookies remain active even after the browser is closed (persistent cookies); they are available for subsequent user visits, and their duration is set by the server at the time of their creation. 1627 Holding S.p.A. uses both session and persistent cookies.
